Games in the library! Media pedagogic approaches and perspectives
Christiane Schwinge (certified pedagogue) works as a freelance media pedagogue in various education areas. In 2007 she was one of the founding members of the Initiative Creative Gaming, which is committed to creative, reflective and critical interaction with computer games. With workshops, exhibitions, continuing training seminars and PLAY - the annual Creative Gaming Festival, the initiative shows how the game can become a toy. Since its opening in the summer of 2015, Christiane Schwinge has been a member of the management team of the ComputerSpielSchule Hamburg, an open media education offering for young people, which is at home in the public libraries of Hamburg. She is also active as a freelance lecturer at various post-secondary institutions and coordinates the MINTforum Hamburg.
