Dagmawi Bedilu is a co-founder of Chewata Awaqi, an Ethiopian gamification network that developed out of the "Gamifiy the city-future" project of the Goethe Institute in Addis Ababa. This resulted in the first Ethiopian local-based-game with the name "the battle of the times", in which the players must come to grips with the past, present and future of the city of Addis Ababa. The software developer and project manager is also active with the government organisation INSA and founder of the social entrepreneur initiative Gursha.org. As a software developer, he concerns himself at Chewata Awaqi with the technical implementation of gamification and gaming in real process environments.
