New dimensions in e-sports marketing
Gregor F. Gründgens, born in Düren, studied business management following his Abitur (university entrance exams) with a focus on marketing and organisation theory at the University of Siegen. The business graduate earned his first professional laurels as a consultant with the Düsseldorf advertising agency DMB&B. In 1998 he moved to Coca-Cola in Berlin, where Gründgens was initially employed as a Marketing Services Manager. In the following years he steadily climbed the career ladder with the beverage manufacturer. From 2005 to 2008, Gründgens was responsible as Director of Marketing Communications for all advertising and marketing activities of Coca-Cola in Germany. Since May 2008, he has headed the main department of Brand Marketing at Vodafone as Director. The enthusiastic jogger, motorcyclist and skier is married and a father of 2 daughters.
