Gamification - an overview
In 2009, Roman Rackwitz founded the first full-service gamification agency in Germany called Engaginglab GmbH, which he still manages today. As such he is already one of the 'veterans' of this industry worldwide.
The agency helps customers become acquainted with the theme gamification in order to find suitable areas of implementation and the appropriate approach, develops gamification concepts and assists with the realisation and implementation thereof.
He was already welcomed to the ranks of the top 10 gamification experts by the agency Rise-Global in 2012. He considers his most important task to be making the potential behind the human fascination of gaming accessible to both the industry and public institutions.
Roman Rackwitz lectures on the theme of Gamification for HR & Marketing at the Munich Business School and at the Institute for Communications & Management in Lucerne.
He is also the Managing Partner of the online city magazine, 'Geheimtipp München' (Insider Tip Munich) and co-founder & partner of the social media agency, Wunderland Media.
In January 2016, Roman Rackwitz, was appointed as a member of the Advisory Board of Schultheiss Software AG, where he is predominantly responsible for the sections Gamification, Social Media and Innovation.
